Went and looked at "Autotrader" 98 Formula

Come to think of it, another project car I'd like to do someday, a 93-97 ford t-bird with an LS1 in it. I have the t-bird yard ornament now...loved that car for over 100k miles, deluxe interior, 230/330 hp/tq rwd 4whl active independent susp., climate control, dual 8way leather buckets, power moonroof, handled and felt awesome for a big car. Sure it weighed 3800 lbs, but the 3.8 SC v6 was pretty quick. Since I started reading about the LS1, I always wanted to put an LS1 in mn12 tbird, but bought the z vert instead for the time being. I'd also like an s10 or el camino with an LS1 also.
As for a v6 camaro converted to LS1, I would bet the insurance would be cheaper for non z28/ss by the actuary tables. They really don't care which motor, just which model, I'd be willing to bet. I mean I would think the VIN code would determine the rate, even when you say it has a v8 in it I bet you'd get the non ss/z28 rate because of the VIN. Maybe not but if I had to guess I'd say the VIN determines the rate. I'll have to ask my hockey buddy about that or my stepfather, their the insurance gurus.
