Im going to trade in my 03 sebring because well, I just dont like it anymore and I would like another M6 LS1.
My bolton car wasnt bad on gas, it was better than this sebring!
But that was with 4.10 gears, im thinking about going with 3.73s for this one since its going to be a Daily Driver.
I would love to throw in a set of 4.56s but I do alot of city driving and highway.
So my feature mod list for good mpg is
Ls6 intake(or a cheap fast used) throttle body, long tubes, true dauls dumped, pulleys, lid with free mod ramair, nice tune,3.73s, LS7 clutch

Forged 348. TRex, heads, fast 90/90, pacesetters, o/r y, magnaflow catback. Its a six speed, with a 9" and 4:10's.
I get around 20-22 mixed driving being easy on it, but it can go way downhill from there lol.

Heads/cam with 4.10s. I got 24.86 on a trip this spring with a passenger, luggage, and a/c on running 75-80 in the hills of Tennessee. It has only gotten under 20 mpg ONCE, and that was in the upper 19 range. I usually get 22ish driving it however I want, some beating, some normal driving, with town and rural driving combined.

if i'm doin nothin but hammering on it i get about 18mpg, if some hammering and some driving, very little to no highway, i get about 22mpg.
heads/cam/90-90 setup
about to get 3.9 gears so we'll see if that helps or hurts

CheaTR cam, full intake, pully, cat-back, 3.73's in an M6. I average 19-22 in my usual 50/50 street/hwy driving. 19 if I feel like driving a little hard. 22 if I hit the cruise control. On road-trips i'll get 26mpg. Back when I had stock gear ratio and my LS1 intake, I got 30mpg on a road trip in the middle of July from SF to Phoenix at 80mph, a/c blasting.

Everytime this question is brought up, why do people like to give the gas mileage they got on a crosscountry trip with few stops and good conditions? I never understood it. That isnt they way that you drive the car most of the time. Not that I care, and not that this thread is as bad as most, but I was just wondering??? When people ask what is your MPG, the typical response is, "I got 32 MPG on a trip from Wyoming to Kansas........."
