Default whats goin on?

Hey guys, when I hit 115 mph in my 2001 camaro Z28 it feels like I hit some kind of limiter. It has a lot more left in it but it doesnt go above 115. So my question to you is why this happens or what it is? Thanks

Probably because your car wasn't equipped with Z rated tires from the factory, so a 115-118 mph limiter was put on it.

The fastest, easiest way is to get a programmer.. like the Hypertech Power Prorgrammer or the Diablo Sport. Do be careful at high speeds if you dont have Z rated tires. People say not to worry about it but I'd just get some to be safe and have peace of mind

You make it seem like you regularly travel at 115 mph.

For your sake I hope there aren't any police officers from Shelby Township, MI, that are members of this site.
