Yes they were. But the actually hp numbers are 350. They rated them at that power for insurance. If they had the same power as a vette..which is more expensive to own and insure...then our cars would be even more expensive.

No LS6 intakes should have EGR....they did not come out until 2001, and EGR was gone from our cars already.

wow thats pathetic. what people say these days to sell something. 11.5k for 500hp is a good bang for your buck

yes, but i doubt he knows that. thats why i stated rated. another reason they were rated like that is because gm did not want upset the vette owners.

funny you should ask. i asked. what makes this car make 500 hp? and it still has all the smog equipment? (i throwed that one in for laughs)

here is what he said

"I have only had the car for 2 months. Have only drove it twice. If you are interested in the car come and check it out for yourself. Its being sold as is."

I also emailed him and told him it didnt have the SS package he claims it has, probably wasnt a B4C, and it took quite a bit of work to get to 500hp...this is what he just sent back...

It has the SS emblems on the fenders. the last owner is the one that told me about the 500 hp and believe me it drives like it has 500 hp. My truck has 524 hp and this car is alot faster. thanks for the info. I have only had the car for 2 months.
Then I tried again to kindly explain it to him, along with its posted on a huge LSx site, and being mocked...

I dont care if they are laughing. I just want to sell the car. If they have nothing better to do than to laugh at the car then they need to get a life.
