im amazed that people havent learned. just tell the damn truth! check out this 500hp bone stock cop car W/ A CORVETTE ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (assuming no mods. still looks like a ls1 intake)

how can you tell its a ls1 intake and not a ls6?
I doubt its 500hp though

MOST ls6 intakes had no egr valve in the top. and they only put them on 01 and 02 i believe

yeah. I was at a police auction a while back. and people went nutts when they announced this caprice had the interceptor corvette engine in it. some people.

most people do not plumb there intake for the egr when they do there intake swap.

The LS1 first appeared in the Corvette in 1997.....hence the reason many people say that the Camaro and Firebird have Corvette engines in them.

From the photo in the auction, it's clearly and LS1 intake. The shape of the intake runners differs between the LS1 and LS6 intake.

Police cars are slower than a factory car IMO. They have all that damn equipment in them. And the corvetter ls1 did NOT have 500hp! It was 350 just like all the other ls1's.
