Everybody is forgetting one huge point too.............Even IF, and I mean IF, you tear it up if you don't mind adding weight there is an iron 6.0 block sitting in your local junkyard. (Awesomely often times cheaper than ole 350 from the 70s) Not to mention 4l80s 4l60s etc.......Sharing parts with millions of trucks is the best thing that ever happened for the budget hot rodder. I'm planning a 6.0 4l80 swap now.
Once I get em my 91 pickup with 300k is finally gonna get a "new" ls1 heart out of my car. I'm at like 94k now on the ls1 and I doubt I blow it up by then.
Besides I see literally more brand new gt mustangs than I do 98+ f-bodys. V-6 and V-8 added together. 94-02 mustangs are just retarded in number. And nearly ALWAYS female driven. Around here anyway. Ford is king for some reason??????????? We even have more 350z's here than 98+ fbods and again.....female driven. The lsx is really hard to beat and the fbody is the cheapest platform to get it in. End of story.
