I've thought about buying a Firebird as a DD but I like having a different car as a winter/DD car. Especially after the winter, it's just like I bought my car again lol.

I have a '99 Z28 under a car cover for the winter, and a heavily-modded '94 Z28 sitting in my parents' garage (I have no room for it, but am working on that). The '99 is my DD when the weather is nice, but for now it is my '94 Blazer.

I have 6 f-body cars, 5 Camaros (2 are for parts) and a 1994 Formula M6 vert. My only regret is the fact that I should own the insurance company for all the money I give them.

'67 Camaro I race
'69 Camaro I barely drive

I've had both since I was 19, bought my '69 when I was 17. Saved all my christmas money from when I was like 10, got a job and bought one.

i wish i had one f-body. but when the times comes i will probably have two if not more. one as a DD and one as a weekend/nice day car. the DD for rain and snow. (if we ever get it in north carolina.) the weekend car will be heavly modded and the DD will have small mods. (exhaust, CAI, things like that.) i kinda want both too. a LT1 for the DD and a LS1 the weekend nice day car. but only time and money will tell.

just 1 car period for me, makes things tricky since i absolutely will not drive it in snow, would love to have a lt1 as dd, but being more practical i would have to end up gettin a 4 door front wheel drive beater, or pos truck if i had the money for another car, it would be nice to keep the miles and rain of the ss, and for a change not worry that i might get a speck of dust on what im driving......i agree that absence makes you enjoy the drive more mines been in the garage for 3 days cuz of snow and i cant wait to get it back out!

I own 5 f-bodys.
1980 Turbo Trans AM
1987 IROC-Z
1992 Z28
1998 Z28
1999 Camaro (Just aquired soon to be DD)

Each has its own bit of my addiction to take care of. Ive owned over 30 f-bodys total. Im not sure what it is about them but I cant go without on. I havent been without and f-body sence I was 15. Hard to belive this mess started out with a 1977 Black Special Edition (Bandit) Trans Am my step dad owned when I was 5 years old......

The gas mileage is pretty bad, but I don't have much of a commute so I deal with it. Hopping in my Camaro on the weekends is like a huge treat for me because it's a 180 from driving an SUV all week.
That's funny, I have a GC too. Mine's a 4.0 though. Still sucks down the gas pretty good though.

I use the 'Bird as a DD because it gets much better mileage than the Jeep, I work 30 miles away. But whenever snow is in the forecast, or I'm just running errands around town, I'll take the Jeep. It also comes in handy when I need to move something big. I should really get rid of it and get a little Saturn or something for a better DD, but I just can't bear to part with it.

Well +1 for not actually selling the car yet but -3 for not manning up and telling her when she buy's her own SUV she can take the mutt anywhere she wants. Until then you will decide if the dog comes or not.

98 and a 99 T/A here. I wake up each day and try and decide which one to drive.

Normally I just take the one with the most gas in it!

Now if only I could get a 2000, 2001 and a 2002 I will have the whole set!

97 Z28 M6, and an 02 TA A4.
The LT1 has been my DD for almost 5 years now, snow, rain, storms etc, it has never let me down. Its held up VERY well even for being street raced practicly every weekend. Zero opti problems to date, its a bolton car. The TA is about to get some serious power additions here pretty soon.
