The seafoam sticky recomends it to be used every 10k, so you have missed your last two applications...

How would i know if the stall was tuned by the previous owner?

If this makes any difference when it shifts gears it jerks. If it was tuned would it jerk?

Only way I know is get it looked at by a tuner. There aren't supposed to be jerking between shifts especially if its under normal driving.

OK well mine jerks like a mother. Anyway i was looking back at the receipt's and the previous owner had a $350 tune before the tranny was rebuilt and the stall was put on.

So i was wondering if i get my cam and the tune, will it take care of all the other tuning that should be done?

It only has 23k miles why seafoam?

If it only has 23k miles then why a rebuilt tranny!???

This car may have seen some hard use that was not reported to you.

Start with a new tune or maybe a stock tune. Have a mechanic check over the motor too before you do the cam.

I have an M6 but my average fuel/mileage has been 21.9 mpg over the life of the car!
That is on a GM stock tune.

I get 9.8 mpg in city w/o lead foot. I have compm cam 222/224 566/568 @ .50 duration, 2800 stall, dyno tune, stainless work off road header & minor other mods. What do you guys think, with this mild cam & stall should i get least 13 mpg in city ?

yea that has a lot to do with it. my v6 grand am gets 15mpg on my last fillup. i drive like 3 miles to work and 3 miles back. 1 mile to the gym and back. 2 miles to the chow hall and back. that's what happens when you have short trips. 80mph on the interstate though, and i'll get 33-35mpg.

Look at it this way, what you sacrifice in mpg you make up for in having a damn good looking car.

My bone stock Z28 gets about 15-17 mpg city and uaully 22-23.5 mpg highway, if you want better gas mileage sell me your car and get a M6

With the mods in my sig on my M6 with stock gears I got 200 miles on the first tank I drove through the car. I guarantee you that 1 out of 3 times I went through the gears I was on it. I drive 90% city now. My daily commute is 1.5 miles each way. The first tank I did a lot of driving in 45mph speed zones. I'm telling you I drove that thing HARD. And on top of that I think its running a little rich. I know automatics get bad mileage, especially with a stall, but thats almost the same mileage as my 2002 2500HD with the freakin 8.1L BBC and an allison 5spd auto.
