I'm another LT1 jerk.
Got it when I was 20. 21 now. *Sigh* These stupid cars cost a lot more here in Canada than they do in the States.
Still, I'm paying for it myself. The only money borrowed is money from the bank.
The cars the kids rocked when I was in school were the 'mad fly' Civics. I swear, the fastest car in school when I was there was a bone stock '68 Mustang. Some kid with a Talon thought he had some kickass rally car.

I bought it my junior year of high school, just after i turned 16. Well, had 8K saved up by then to put down on it, and had to pay it off before i got to college. I'm 20 now, and a junior in college.

Yes sir! I officially live in Newport News, I go to college in Richmond, but I spend probably 70% of my time in Va Beach during the spring and summer. Hampton Roads in general is my playground.

it looks like i got my SS the easiest way....
at 19 i got thrown out of a car when it hit a rockcut twice and then a chick drove over my head. layed around for a while while they put my face back on, and as compensation for having vision in one eye and a broken back and collarbone for the rest of my life i got a settlement.
walked in to the dealers paid cash for a 95 impala SS and the ordered my SS at the same time.
realized the imp was beat worse than a taxi (after 5 months of treating it like it was stolen) and sold it back to the dealer and picked my camaro up the same day.
ordered my '99 SS when i was 21, still in the garage cause i lost my license about five times with it, so i drive it about one week a summer. the rest of the time i am working on my other **** boxes...

It run's in the family bro had an 86 V6 now he has 2000 Z28 brought it new in 2000 @ 19, sister had and 89 RS 305 cool car she just got just sold not 2 long ago and now me got a 94 V6 (mom and dad would not let the boy's get V8's) summer of 12 grade payed cash sold it bought a brand new 2006 cobalt (POS if you ask me) to get some credit and in aug 07' got a 2002 NBM FULLY LOADED Z28 im only 19 almost 20, the trick join a UNION make damn good money and live at home with mommy and daddy
