Im 18 paying for the note, insurance and gas myself from working a 45 hr night shift while going to college. I drove a busted third gen for 2 1/2 yrs through HS and picked up my SS halfway threw my first semester at college. I already put the wheels & DR's on and I have a wet n2o kit sittin in my room waitin to go on and have only had the car for 3 months

Got my 2002 35th anniversary Camaro SS when i turned 15 for my bday...great bday present right 
when i turned 17 my dad handed down his 05 ls2 vette as a dd to get to school and back since he bought a 07 z06. Hopefully he'll hand down his zo6 and get a zr1 lol

Question for you college students that keep your LS1 on campus. Ever have to worry about some drunken idiot messing with your car?
I'm kind of glad I had my 86 Monte Carlo when I was in college. Had a 350, and sure it was slow compared to my f-body, but if something happened to it I wouldn't be too worried. Like when some jackass put a dent in the front fender in the parking lot. Just seemed like people drove and parked like idiots at college, or some drunk would be jealous of a nice car and mess with it.
I'm kind of glad I had my 86 Monte Carlo when I was in college. Had a 350, and sure it was slow compared to my f-body, but if something happened to it I wouldn't be too worried. Like when some jackass put a dent in the front fender in the parking lot. Just seemed like people drove and parked like idiots at college, or some drunk would be jealous of a nice car and mess with it.

im 25 have had 5 fbodys before getting my ls1 2yrs ago all paid for buy me. . . 2 tpi cars 1 tbi 1 carb 1 lt1 and now my SS all in all ive had 13 cars/trucks most of which i blew up but yea i paid for them all . . . just need a good job and live at home. . . but now comes time to buy a house just when you thought cars were expensive!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes sir! I officially live in Newport News, I go to college in Richmond, but I spend probably 70% of my time in Va Beach during the spring and summer. Hampton Roads in general is my playground.
