well, what are your needs? unless your going to the dragstrip and need max flow, i went with the budget $900 ls6 stage 1 heads. they flow 307 cfm at 600 lift. with more expensive heads with bigger valves you could flow well over 330 cfm at 600. is it worth the money? vettes come with light weight sodium filled valves, do you need that? $$$$$ cam choice is more important. just my 2 cents. stock ls1's flow about 235/240 and stock ls6 flow about 265/270cfm. there is a book called dyno proven performance for ls1/ls6/ls7 which does compare a few heads. $16 on amazon. its more of a sales catalog but some interesting info.

If you are on a budget then i would say go with the PRC or TEA heads with a mild street cam like a TR228

If you got the money then without a doubt get the Trickflow 215CC heads milled to 59cc. They are probably the best performing heads on the market right now. Their 13.5 degree valve angle allows you to run a slightly bigger cam without PTV clearance issues. You will have to upgrade to a set of harland sharp or yellow terra rockers though.

if you have the money i would pick this up.

barely used, good price

I'm not on a budget. I'd like to keep my current cam. With my current setup, i'm looking for the best set of heads, my cam specs are above, I have SLP longtubes, 4:11 gears, U/P, k&n fipk, all suspension mods. The only things I need now to complete the setup are heads and a new clutch which i'll probably go with Spec 3. I've now been told 205cc and 215cc. What do I need guys?????

In that case i would go with the TEA or PRC heads. It wouldnt be worth it for you to spend the money for TFS, AFR, or ETP heads. Once you get up around 420 rwhp the LS6 starts to become restrictive. Now if you have the money and want to upgrade to a FAST then i would say for the better heads and a bigger camshaft

Which would benefit me more at this point, heads or the new fast 92 intake and big mouth throttle body? Or do they need to go hand in hand?

Ok, I just purchased the new fast 92mm intake and throttle body from Speed-eng. I'm still trying to figure out which heads to buy. Also still looking for advice.

The best choices have been listed, ETP, Trickflow [ TFS ], & ETP. I like the TFS heads even though you have to get aftermarket rockers, but who cares it's probably better to do that anyways. I've always liked the performance TFS gave me on the 5.0s I used to have.

In the end you can't qo wrong with any of those three choices.
