It is NOT a good time to be selling anything right now. Especially the car you have. (Don't feel bad, mine is red a4 as well, I'm a clone not a real SS though, no badges.)

Market is FLOODED with red camaros and MOST have a4's.

With that being sad, car looks REAL nice. I went to KBB, which is just a guide, hopefully you could get more than these prices, these are private party prices:

98, SS, 20,000 mile a4 excellent condition $8,500
98, SS, 100,000 mile a4 excellent condition $7,500

Trans-Am's are on average about $2,000 or $3,000 more than our cars, so to trade, your probably looking at putting up some cash as well.

This ones not a real SS either if I read the initial post correctly. "1998 camaro z28 turn ss " I have seen a couple real SS cars go for around $8000 recently, but we dont know the mileage on this one yet. There are a bunch of Z28s under $8000 right now for sale out there. Like Jason mentioned, the market is flooded.

OH WOW, I just re-read the first post, and this is a clone like mine. TAKE THE BADGE OFF IF THAT'S AN SS BADGE.

Take off $1000 from my original post on both prices, that should give you the Z28 price. You'll get the money back if you part out the SS components with your stock components.

It says "got LS6" how many miles are on the LS6? If the engine is newer it might make it worth more to someone. Just so you know, I paid $3600 for my car with 120k on it. It is a 98 and had a lid and B&B triflow on it, otherwise stock with a 6 speed. Extremely clean condition, only needed a tranny mount when I got it.
