I love it! ! ,.. Maybe they'll help hide my SLP LTs!

So, what is the difference between the tubular style, and the 3-point style? Besides the price.

Thanks.
Hello,

Thanks for the interest

We recommend the 3-Point style for the serious racer and/or if you are running a short tunnel mounted torque arm. When running a shorter style tunnel mounted torque arm the 3-Point SFC's bolt under the torque arm and reduce the stress the torque arm applies into the floor of the car. Here is a picture to reference what I am referring to- http://www.umiperformance.com/images/2004b.jpg

If you have any additional questions please ask. Thank you!

How do you fit a driveshaft loop into that configuration?

I would DEFINITELY look into Spohn's SFC's.. I have a set and they tuck up against the floor... absolutely no loss of ground clearance... Plus they're tubular and come powdercoated... Can get them in 4130 if you'd like... You can even weld them without removing carpet... or you can remove the carpet and weld them the entire length of the SFC, to the floor...

As for their TA, there's a little loss of clearance with it.. I bang it on speed bumps every now and then...

I have Hotchkis boxed in black. They weld in the front and bolt in the back. You can't even tell they are there until you get on your knees and look under the car.

Yea no joke. I'm amazed it doesn't have them already. I never launch it but I do beat it once in a while...just dusted an SRT4 and modded Eclipse turo last night. I almost thought they gave up...it was sad. I was laughing on the outside, but on the inside, well...i was laughing harder, but you get the idea.

1 quick one, I was looking at the 3 point style for the most rigidity, and since I'll probably be going with a tunnel mount torque arm like you mentioned.

Is there any difference in ground clearance with the different styles you offer? I want the best but at the same time I'm trying to refrain from repainting the bottom of my car with speed-bump yellow.

I have the SLP weld ins. They are good quality but hang down. Once I do my motor swap I am thinking about going with the UMI tubulars...wish I would have in the first place.
