Getting ready for the next mod, the car needs subframe connectors. I want something that'll still keep good ground clearance and not be very visible under the car. I've seen a few sets that stuck out under the car and looked like crap.
Any advise on what brand to go with?

i went with bmr weld-in for my convertible. can't see them unless you duck down and look under. then again, mine are black on a white car. i suppose if you went with bright red ones, you'd have a problem.
as for ground clearance... don't lower the car and you'll be fine. mine hang just a few mm lower than my exhaust. but when i do bottom out, i know the subframe connectors are taking the hit.

I think I'm actually going with either Hotchkis or SLP, anyone have any input on either of them?
Hotchkis is cheaper but the SLP version looks like it'll be much stronger.

Looks like you have your decision made, but I will throw my vote for UMI out there. I have used their products on both of my F-bodies, see sig, and they have been great quality at a great price.

Hello,
Please keep us in mind for your decision, we offer one of the longest list of available items when it comes to SFC's. Our tubular 2-Point version tucks tight into the floor and is not visible from the side of the vehicle. We have these available in a weld in version or a 100% bolt in. Please take a look at the link below.

If you have any questions please ask. Thank you!

Ok, I have a question. I just followed the link and looked at the sub frame connectors. I'm looking at the bolt in, simply because I don't have a welder, but still prefer doing the work myself.
So, what is the difference between the tubular style, and the 3-point style? Besides the price.
Thanks.

I have the UMI boxed SFC's on my car, they tuck up nice but you can see them a little bit if you're really looking. I like the quality of the pieces though, I'll most likely be going with UMI for the rest of my suspension stuff. If maximum ground clearance is what you want, a tubular SFC like the other guys suggested would be your best bet. The three point SFC also ties into the floorpan in the center of the vehicle to tie it together better.
