ok so i been thinking of a set up that i can afford for this april and came up with this...383 stroker with afr heads,custom grind blower cam,f1r procharger at 20+ lbs with a 150 shot direct port with a performabuilt 4l80e transmission, with all supporting fuel mods, etc. full drag suspension will be included as well. what do yall think? im guessing mid 9's.

i was actually wanting to do a lsx 454 with a 88mm single turbo with a th400.
oh and i just talked to the guys at performabuilt and they assured me that the tranny(4l80e) could handle 900-1000 all day long. so i guess its final that thats the tranny im getting!

do any of you guys know whats involved in getting a liscence to run 9's? what gearing should i get for my rear end for this set up with a 4l80e?
