Light Blue Metallic?
#2
I think you mean "Bright Blue Metallic"... the color that was available in '99 only. People call it the "smurf" color. Probably kind tough, because they didn't make a whole lot of them. 1117 accross all models, no SS models in that color.. two 1LE models with 6-speeds.

I got one! I was lucky enough to find one with only 24k miles on it. LS1, M6, T tops. Leather. I'm luck as heck to grab it.. everything else was kind of lame or an auto (I was looking for an M6) and then one day I saw it in an add. 1 week later I drove it home.
I think I just was looking at the right time.

that will be a hard one to find. i keep looking for a bright purple metallic z28 and it is damn near impossible. same with bright blue metallic, unfortunately. i really wish that they had made ss's in these two colors.

Now that you've said it. I'll say I agree. These cars are meant to be low and fast. BTW, I've always loved that color. When I was looking for mine that was the color I was looking for, but ended up with a NBM instead. Not at all disappointed though.

OK, found some OLD pics. However, the car looks the same as it has been cared for fanatically and actually hasn't been driven for the last 18 months. Stored under a cover in a buddy's shop.
She's about to come out and get an LS6 intake, bigger injectors, PCM tune, and ZR-1's with fresh rubber.

Yup yup. I guess that's why it stood out to me. I admit, before I bought the car I knew little about what colors were limited etc etc. All I saw was a low miles ls1 m6 leather t top... it could have been any color. It just happened to be the MBM. I initially thought it was aftermarket paint since I never saw it before, but found out it was factory a few days I bought it. I was all over it haha.
