10 bolts are junk. make sure you have a buddy with a trailer to haul you home from the strip. im on my third one street tires. i just ordered a 9", you should probably do the same. tickperformance.com has an awsome deal on moser 12 bolt and 9" rearends

Mine is still alive after 8,000 miles with a 3000stall and countless launch's on the street and quite a few pass's at the track cutting 1.7 60fts which isnt fast but the 10 bolt is still alive. Since you have a auto it will last longer. Hell theres a few guys on here running 10 bolts cutting 1.6 60fts and under and theres is still alive so im sure you would be fine depending on power levels ofcourse and how big of a stall you have

It might last a while or even a long time but I would still save up and get a good 9 inch or 12 bolt

Full weight, with 3-5gl in the gas tank of 93.

Just an idea of the 1/4mi and 60' would be awesome.
thats a pretty specific question.... damn

I am looking into buying some Greg Weld Wheels (15x10" & 15x5") and hook thoes babies up to some M/T tires (P275/50R15, not so sure they would fit on a wheel that is 10" wide).
I just want to know what everyone thinks about doing this with the Factory 10-bolt and A4 because they are both weak in the long run. The car only has 16,5xx miles on it. Mods are listed in my sig.
I know if i had the 10-bolt and a M6 it would only take so many passed before the 10-bolt *****.

HUGE EDIT: i ment drag radial.
your fucked, end of story. read my sig.

but jk, with your low miles you should be able to get a few good seasons out of it. i think the rear end will pop before your transmission

im at 120k miles on both, and ive had work done to the rear end. the bearings went out

Frank Vieta who had a GM HighTech artical about 4 months back (Red 35th Anaversery SS w/ white racing stripes & Procharged 396 stroker) laid down 830-rwhp is still riding his STOCK 10-bolt andhe has M/T drag radials. ... That sucker never grips so he'll probably wear it out with miles instead of blowing it up.

.........If you lay down enough power for it to grip w/ sticky ties she'll blow! .. If you lay down TOO much power and she NEVER grips you don't have that much to worry about.
