Nothing is on my carfax, but the last owner said the car was backed into. Nothing is bent or mis-shapen though. It was strictly the cover, light and fender.

I was hit by a drunk driver memorial day weekend of 07... the guy backed out of his driveway but was so drunk he went off the curb... into my car. He then drove away... However, I heard my car alarm going off, ran outside, and snapped a picture of his plate. Took him to small claims court now he owes me over 4 grand... still havent seen a penny. (Iowa's court system kinda blows)

My friends own their own shop and will repaint the whole car and fix the minor damage to the rear qt panel for 1200. (cheap!! considering a dealership would charge close to 5k). Oh and when I went to the dealer for the estimate for JUST THE DAMAGE it was at 1400.... for a tiny mark in the qt panel! Rediculous.

So I guess when this guy decides to finally pay me the money he owes... it'll go towards my car payment... too bad i'm using my tax return to fix the damage tho.

But that's the only accident the car has been in... that I know of?

Most of you that think you have a 100% clean car have no clue. Being certified in paint and body I run across cars all the time with people claiming the same thing and I find all kinds of tell tale signs of previous damages.

Doesn't bother me though, a replaced fender or quarter or door or hood or rocker doesn't make the car a piece of ****. It just has a replaced part no big deal.

No accidents, but I do have a small door ding over the passenger rear wheel opening that I have to get fixed. Not really noticeable, but I know its there.

The guy we bought it from said there was one accident, he was at a T intersection and someone not paying attention just hit the front passanger side, screwed up the bumper, hood, and headlight, which were all replaced new and painted, can't even tell! (except on the headlight, the newer one has some silverish paint on it that is starting to come off)

+ 1000 when I first saw my car could tell there were signs of replaced parts front end/driver side panel but I made the dealer put it on a lift to check for frame damage when my mechanic friend gave it the ok took it out for a test drive rode as smooth as my friends purchased from dealer new trans am so I bought it besides the carfax said it was clean replaced body panels dont mena shyt to me as long as the car has a clean title/no frame damage im good with it

Mine is clean.
Its not always the driver's/owner's fault. Mine was hit while I was at my job. Came out side and there was a note on the car saying someone had hit it.

Then the bodyshop put the wrong bumper on there, I told them OEM, not aftermarket.

and this is what I got:

But after much complaining, I finally got an OEM one. Soooo much better qaulity than the aftermarket one.

I wish I could find my accident pictures but mine was pristine before the accident. She's fine now and was completely repaired but now I have a Salvage Title. God forbid any of you ever have to deal with that.

I dunno, 3 out of 4 of the 4th gens I have had were not originally from the Buffalo area

But yeah I only put about 3,000 miles a year on mine and I never park it in high risk places
