Default Ideas on parting out perfect car?

Do you guys think it is possible to part out a perfectly good 02 SS and pay off the $16,500 balance?

Details

02 NBM SS
Ebony leather interior in mint condition
57K w/6spd
Car is in perfect shape and many small mods as well, even new chrome ZR1's and good tires.

Here is my for sale ad, but I feel bad parting it out and selling the shell.

What are your thoughts? I think it may be too much work just to pay the loan off. Im thinking just hold onto it until the payoff gets lower or someone local wants it.

Put it up for sale for what you owe. There is always someone who will pay it out there. You may have to wait for a little while but it couldn't hurt to try.

I would hold out to see if someone would buy it. That's one clean looking car and I would think someone would buy it here soon. No sense in taking that nice of a car apart IMO. NBM is one of my favorite colors, too bad I don't have the money. I'd make the drive to florida just to drive it back home.

I paid alot for it but I really thought it would satisfy me. I am listing it for what I owe, I just made the 1st payment.

I gotta sell it, I really want out of it and back into a Cobra. I guess I will just hold on until I find a buyer.

You will definitely have better luck on AutoTrader than here. Everyone on here seems to want something for nothing ..

Thats where I bought it and thats where its advertised now. I'll just sit and wait. Is everyone waiting for the new Camaro or something? This was the cleanest Camaro I could find.

your going to spend more of YOUR time parting it out not to get as much money. you can spend your time doing something else, and let it sit, its almost summer, someone will give you a decent offer. besides.. why would you be in such a hurry to get in a ford??? haha jk good luck though

MS3, PRC's, 90/90 all the bolt ons and a 100-150 shot was the plan. Its not enough though and I didnt realize how much I hate a large cam lope. The MS3 lopes pretty hard (just installed on Sat) and 460-470rwhp N/A (550-600rwhp N20) aint gonna do it so now I feel like Im wasting time sitting on the car. Ohwell.

yeh.. you need to think it out (though that seems ironic, considering it was a rushed decision that got you here) i think you'll be happier to just sell.

parting out will take so much of your time.. which has to be worth something.

how much for the mods? do you have stock wheels?

honestly from lots of experience, you would be lucky to even break the 10k mark parting it out.

Jay....All of your damn cobra threads have made me quite interested. I have been doing more and more research on them over the last few weeks. Now I find myself contemplating selling the Z06 and getting a termi!!! What the hell has happened to me....What would you do if you were me? I can sell the Z for 30-32k right now?
