Default Hp Tv Lsx

There's a new HP tv episode on at 11:00 CST today and it looks like they will be discussing LSX engines.

Just thought I would pass it on.

I will also tivo it but, they will only put their shows crap *** sponsors parts on the car. You won't see them drop a set of Afr 225s and slide a custom Vengeance cam in it or anything. Just like the last lsx camaro they built. They do not use parts proven to gain power. They use the parts they are paid to use.

GMPP was the sponsor. Made 660hp with a carbed LSX, not to shabby. LSX shootout coverage was pretty cool.

Not to be a butt, but I believe that's how television shows make money.

i like how they never give any specifics on the parts they used. i was blown away when they gave the cam specs. what's up with 23x/27x duration with under .600 lift? are GMPP LS7 heads really screwy or what (just seemed weird to me)? what about the rods and crank? were they stock LS7 parts?

No it was a forged crank/rods/pistons.

i know the crank was forged, the rods were forged titanium. LS7's have titanium rods and i figured they might have 4130 cranks too...just curious.

i've been searching around for titanium rods and the results have been less than ambiguous. not sure exactly where to buy and can't find an accurate price figure or how much abuse they'll handle. HP TV's website is about as helpful as the latest issue of "Cosmo" when it comes to any usable information regarding the stuff they use/build.
