And I thought my 111K was high ...I'm catching you though, I bought it with 86 or 87K at the very end of August 2007...so I'm adding miles on FAST.

Miles don't ALWAYS mean a car is or isn't clean...I personally am happy I found a really clean high mileage Z28...it cost me less to buy it, and so far in the 24K I've driven it, I've only needed to change fluids, replace a few bulbs and new brakes...and I've washed it every chance I get too, so it is staying in good shape...I'd say it's in better shape than when I bought it (cleaner in the engine bay).

Bought my SS last fall with 10.5k on it. It now has 15.5k on it. I didn't drive it all winter either. I did drive the **** out of it when I first got it. It only comes out on nice days. I added the mods to it. It is getting cammed this weekend too .

red 2002 WS6 with 2175 miles on it....wouldnt have that many but i had to drive it back almost 400 miles from where i bought it. Had 1500 when i got it in 2005 and pulled into the garage right at 1900 so only 275 miles in 3 years.

I'm thinking about doing headers, y-pipe and a cam....do you guys think that hurts the resale value even tho a car has low miles or as long as you keep ur parts to put it back to original it wont matter?? When i did my exhaust, i had the factory taken off as one piece and then my GMMG put on for that reason. I hope to get another WS6 later on to drive and enjoy alot more....i'm afraid of someone banging into it or getting chips on it but thats just me. Plus I think ppl intentionally park near u when they see something nice and shiny.

No ****, i'm with this guy. I can't buy a car and not drive the damn thing. I'm 19, how am I gonna leave my ws6 in the garage and not drive her? That's like having my gf over and not f%$kin her! Although I am gonna be getting a settlement soon from the insurance company. I hope it's enough to pay the rest on the car and buy a DD. It has 35k miles on it and it's an 01. Is it too late? If I had a DD it would only be a summer weekend warrior and sit in the garage in the winter. So, too late to start saving some mileage?

Personally, I'd pay more for a stock car.

So would I. There is just something about an unmolested car that is sexy.

Lol i hear ya.

My daily beater gets more action than the camaro.
But i have enough projects to figure out first, so the camaro gets driven when i feel dejected or frustrated with one of those, just to put a smile back on my face i guess.

I agree. If I am going to buy something with low miles and have to pay a premium for that, I would rather the car be unmolested. If the car has been torn into by someone else it devalues it a bit in my opinion.

Bone stock and lost my membership last year on a trip to Busch Gardens in VA. Still under 12,000 miles though.

Stock is better for resale howver is your intent to resale it or enjoy it? I would say make the changes that you would like to have on the car.

I myself don't care for trailer queens. Cars were built to be drove, thats why they put wheels on them.. 2000 trans am with 40,000 miles ( I know still kinda low but just bought it in sept.)
