btw i meant to mention-
$9g for a 150kmile car? yeah, thats crazy to pay that.
even if you wanted another ws6 you could find one for a better price than that. thats the price for a 70kmile ws6 at a dealership.

It happens though. I've bought cars that I thought I'd really like for one reason or another, but ended up selling them shortly after because in pratice they just weren't as fun/nice as in theroy.

But sometimes you just need to suck it up and deal with it, unless you want to lose your shirt on a trade in.
And even so, losing your shirt on a 150k mile version of a car you already have 2 of is really dumb. At least get a pickup, or SUV, or something with some practical uses. And if they were trying to put snows on a FWD Cobalt that they want to get rid of, clearly a T/A isn't the ideal car to replace it with.

Rather than keep 3 cars you are not driving in the winter why not sell the Cobalt for what you can get out of it even if you have to finance one of your existing cars to do so. It will take a long time for you to make enough payments to ever catch up on your loan especially as you say the Cobalt is continuing to loose value. Do you really need another car right now?
