I bought my 95 camaro z28 over the weekend and im thinking i should do an oild change. I want to use a full synthetic, but ive heard its bad to switch from conventional to fully synthetic. I don't know what oil is in there now but i want to be safe. What should i do? Thanks

i switched when i bought my 2000 t/a i havent had any problems car seems to like it. only thing that i would say is make sure you check your oil about once a month. synthetic seems to dissapear. and once you switch you have to keep using it. oil changes can get expensive about $10 more if you are doing it yourself...

i would usually suggest going to a blend for a change or 2 just to condition the seals to the different additives in synthetic as opposed to conventional.
that way, when you go to synthetic, less will be consumed/
