Had the 99 tapping the speed limiter before it was tuned, so 161-162. Last week I ran down an LT-1 and according to the gear calculator went 170 in the WS6, oops. It's supposed to be the daily driver and told myself I wasn't going to beat it Find that pretty funny since the speed limiter has been removed from the WS6 and still trying to determine what all it has done to it. The only things I can find so far is it has a Loudmouth (obviously), timing chain and ported oil pump. Just don't know if it was tuned with a handheld or gotten a proper tune???

 

130mph Garden State Parkway. Exits 117 through Mile marker 124(Cheesequake pit stop). Rushin did you seriously go 183mph with 3.73's?

 

145 before I ran out of straight double lane and had to get off it. It was still pulling and I'm sure would go to the speed limiter, given enough good road.

 

I've lost count how many times I've been north of 145mph. Speedo is all messed up with the 4.10s now, but M6 car, so I know it still gets up there.....

Sure you can wreck and die, or you can do 60mph all your life and get killed by the flu, stuck by lightning, or some other stupid ****.

 

Did about 155 on an open freeway at 2 in the morning, it was pretty cool.

on my way home from buyin my lt-1, at the end of my jr. year of high school, i burried the needle. so like 152 or so. since then its been past 150 a dozen times. the guys always tell me they can hear me a few miles from town, so i wanted to hear it sometime. so one evening, a friend and i took it past 150, 4 times, twice so i could hear it from the side of the road on a flyby and accelerating from a stop. fastest i went racing was 148 vs a g35 ( i won). cruised in the Z at 140 with a friend who was drivin his moms lexus... yes, young and stupid!!!

i live in nebraska among the cornfields...its flat, very flat.

 

135 when it was stock. I've done 145 a handful of times a few years ago and don't plan on doing it again on a public road. I don't even remember the last time I went over 80 mph on the street.

My girlfriends dad had an iroc with an lt1 put in it and it was all trick out and he got somewhere where it normally takes 2 hours in 45 minutes.....i laughed!!! o yea and he did it at 2 in the morning too ... thats why i remembered that.

When I had it...I got her to 157 before I ran out of road. I had a really hard time stopping in time so I was glad I let off when i did.

 

I haven't even left first gear yet! ...

who knows it was at 5800 in sixth with 373 and the car finaly felt like it was going fast and thats scarey so well above 150

 

135 in the stock dumdumdumdumdum with a bad opti. That was its max it wouldnt go any faster. After the opti was fixed the guy who bought it from me said he got it to 150. The 01 went 140 i let off though cause i got scared.

We burried the needle in the 83...but the needle only goes to 85 so i would say close to 100 in that.
