Damn thats a pretty sweet trap speed for your power. But no, my stock clutch didnt play well with my ET Streets so I put a Tex OZ700 in.

Nice...I figured you were aftermarket I was gonna be shocked if you had the stock ls6 clutch in..... I've heard great things about the Tex. clutches. Thanks, my numbers were on a mustang dyno I heard they read lower than dynojet but it's cool. I haven't been to the track since Feb. I need traction to improve my times, bout the best I can do with what I have right now. I've done some weight reduction also.

i dunno, the 99 cam is the very slightly bigger stock cam.
with mac mids, mac catted y, magnaflow catback, lid, my own hptuners tune i put down 336/339 on a dyno dynamics through my a4 on unlocked converter. my af was 12.6-12.7 all the way across.
however, if i put my car on a scale, i'd cringe at those numbers.

98-00 has the same spec cam with crappy heads (806 853 I think), ls1 block, & crappy ls1 intake compared to later years. 01 & 02 has a smaller cam with better heads (841), blocks (some had ls6), & ls6 intake than the previous years.
Cam specs are:

Stock 98-00 trans am cam

Duration@.050 198.86 intake 209.25 exhaust
Lift .498 intake .497 exhausts
LSA 119.45

Stock 01-02 trans am cam

Duration@.050 196.37 intake 208.72 exhaust
Lift .464 intake .479 exhausts
LSA 115.92

I'm not sure what your getting at with the "99's have bigger cam" but because 98-00 had the bigger cam doesn't nessesarily mean anything substantial as far as power. Good numbers BTW

the cast number is actually 843, and they are the same heads, just different casting procedure, sand cast vs die cast. btw some of the 00 cars got the 241 heads, I did and yes the 241's are slightly better due to being die cast

Tuned by G-Force. No spray... still on 17X9.5's in the back and a dragging clutch, it will be under 11.5 with bolt-ons when I get it finished.
