I would pay less or keep looking, I purchased my 99 z28 for about that price with about 2k in mods 3 summers ago with the same miles.

The 1999 SS was not very nice, still thinking about the 1999 z28 he said he would be willing to go down some and thinking about going to see the 2002 z28. I just dont know if it would be worth the extra to get the 02 with less mile or not. Or if i should just keep looking.

Here are a few pictures of the 2002 z28, they are asking $10,900, like i said already it is m6 with 55k. Still have not gotten the chance to go see this one in person.

Went and looked at the 2002 z28 today. It drove nice, had a few small things that would need fixed in the interior but nothing major (speaker cover, little piece on door pannel, center ash tray broken.) A few little stains here and there but like I said nothing really major wrong with anything in the interior. Hust shifter with H ****. It has almost 56k on it now. Outside pretty nice a couple small scratches, nothing major there. Motor is all stock visual wise, with a k&n. They said that they would listen to offers, asking $10,900 and claim its about as low as they go before wholesaling the car, but would take offers. Clean title and car fax (but didnt actually see it they said if i want to make offer I can see the car fax first.)

Now just have to decide between this car and the silver z28, that guy said he would be able to pay some and ask $6900 and would possibly be able to go slightly lower. I dont know if it would be worth the extra money to get the newer 02 with 56k or the 99 with 86k or just keep looking. Both of the cars are in very good condition being used with only minor things wrong. The 99 is interior prob in a little better shape then the 02 but both are in good shape.

What do you guys think?

If I remember right, the silver one is an auto and would need new wheels. If you like autos then no problem. But I like black, and would only buy a manual, I'd consider that black m6 you could always get leather interior stuff from a junkyard if you cared.

It is a hard top on the 02, both cars are 6speeds, 99 is a t-top car, both have cloth interior.

So i was talking to the dealership about the 2002 z28 and they said that no one else was looking and that I could take my time, to think about it then let them know. I talked to them a couple times today and when I called back to ask a question he told me they just sold it, so i guess that one is out of the question now. Now just have to keep on looking, or decide if i want the 1999 z28.

yeah, find a ttop or vert anyway. I highly recommend a vert m6 whatever, if you can afford one.
