no not at all the coolant hose may be a pain, u should just be able to take the lid off, open up the throttle and spray carb cleaner let it set then wipe it off with some paper towels, there is no need to take the TB off unless u think its the best way to get it cleaned up

yeah you dont have to take it off, taking it off is very quick and easy however

i just took the lid off and had someone push down the gas pedal
