Question on 5.3 valve covers for ls1 Well i have been looking for centerbolt valve covers for my ls1 heads .So i ran across some off a 5.3 truck.The heads bolt up fine to my 853 heads but i have ran into another problem .The coil pack Brackets that came off the truck motor will not hold my stock ls1 coils.
So what is everyone doing to remedy this.Are you just buying 99+coil pack brackets if so will they fit for a 5.3 valve cover.
This is all i like to fire my new engine up i would just like to find the Quickest way to get it going.
