That cam isnt a big diff over a stock ls1.Maybe 1-1.5 mph over a ls1?Get some damn tires, you might find that hookin a little more will increase your mph a little by getting you in your powah band !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok everyone correct me if I am wrong but doesnt your 60ft made a big difference in your et and final mph ? if it makes a big diff in mph then there is yourextra 1-2mph honestly I think for 4.10 gears and a suposed 1s6 cam that 108 aint a bad mph. In my first trans am completly stock exept for a heavy stereo I ran a 13.6 at 104. also mine was an automatic

most of the time, your trap speed will be pretty much the same wether you get traction on the launch or not. if u sit there and spin the tires off the line you just waste time not track distance. lets say you trap at 110 with a good 60 ft. then on the next run just as an example, when the light turns green you sit there and burn out for 10 seconds, as if you basically had the worst traction in the world. you would have a 60 ft of 10 or 11 seconds but then once you decided to go down the track you would end up with the same 110 mph speed but a horrible time.

Congrats on your 120mph trap. But once again ill pass you on the street with a little spray. LS1 VS LS6

A normal run for me is 12.4 @ 109 on a 1.7 60' and dead hooking. A bad run is 13.2 @ 107.5 with a 2.2 60' spinning badly out of the gate. My best ever trap was 12.6 @ 110 on a 1.8 60 where I spun a little and then hooked.
So with a 2.4 60' I wouldn't be surprised if his trap speed went up to 109-110 if that 60' was brought down to a 2.0 or so.

Finally! some people that understand.
As much as kingsumthin and razorclaw are saying the 60ft doesn't matter...it does! That is the problem! Get it down, and the MPH will go up. If you hook right off the line you have more time to speed up. If you are spinning down the track, then finally hook, you don't have as much time to gain speed.

yea i dont think these guys are understanding your question. razorclaw is aware that his 60 ft is bad, he just wants to know if he should trap higher than 108 with those mods. he could get a 1.6 60ft and still trap 108...60ft only matters for times and hes not concerned with his time

Ok are you understanding any of this? You may go faster if you hook up>>>>>>>>...... Do you understand that? MPH is about right for that kinda of 60ft time, I would think you MIGHT be able to get 110-112 out of her if you just get tires. either way if you would hook with a 108trap thats a high 12 sec pass. I ran a 12.8 @ 106

110 sounds about right for your mods. And like I said in my previous post, I think a decent 60' will bring your trap up to 110. So IMO your car is running fine. Just get some sticky tires and you'll be GTG.
And maybe a bigger cam to go with that spray

Whoever says 60's don't affect MPH is wrong.
I realize you mentioned that your tires are bald and you don't care about 60's, but if want a higher trap speed then you need to get your 60's down.
You can't just throw a cam in there and expect miracles, you need intake and exhaust as well. Besides, the LS6 cam isn't that much bigger than the LS1 one.
My cam is 231/237 and some might consider that a decent size cam and I still only trap 112 MPH and I run 11's.

I ran 13.06 @ 108 with a 2.08 60' Later that night I tried launching a little harder and spun the tires to a 2.5 60' and I only trapped 104 on that run. So the 60' had an affect on my trap speed on that particular run.
