I just got done putting a little ole 5.3 EFI Vortec with a wicked cam in a 79 CVX-20 jet boat. GPS'd at 58 last weekend. Running O2 sensors and everything. It's now running 4 mph faster than it did with the stock 460 Ford motor with 135 less cubic inches.

Would love to see some more pictures of how the engine is situated, mounted, and covered. Engine is cool but the fabrication to make it work is what really is the key!

 

I had to put a Bravo drive in and remove the Alpha along with new motor mounts but going from a 5.7 carb to a 502 EFI forged was a 22mph gain> dropped $600 on a labbed 26 pitch merc Bravo 4 blade prop too.

 

That's what we said, the question was why did they send a link to a 4 year old post and not something current?

 

I bet they would fly with a prop change.

 

Is there anything a ls1 won't fit into & make it run awesome!
