Bosch +4 plugs?

Bosch +4 plugs?
I purchased the Bosch 4 prong plugs the other day for my TA but when I got home I realized that changing the plugs on our cars is a little more involved than other vehicles. Are these plugs any good and should I go with plugs that I have to set the gap on?

I have them in my car just because they were out of AC delco iridiums. They function like any other spark plug, better than my old burned off plugs but nothing special about them except they look weird. No idea how long they will last, guess I'll find out. There are cheaper plugs that work just as well, I shouldn't have bought them but oh well.

I thing they are junk. I have always liked the NGK's in the LS1.. I have run bocsh in other cars and been fine. But that plus 4 crap, electricity takes the path of least resistance the plug isn't giving you four times the spark..

electricity takes the path of least resistance, only makes sense that the spark will jump to whatever ground is closest, leaving the other three "dead" so to speak. Another thing, although I don't know how much this would actually affect things, is the fact you now have 4 interruptions in the flame front instead of just 1. I know that a lot of old timers believe in indexing the plugs to the flame front in the cylinder, if that gave any kind of gain and wasn't just a bottle of snake oil then theoretically these plugs would be hurting your performance.
as far as coming back to the real world, I have changed the plugs on several cars with regular misses, only to find that these plugs were to blame. Don't ask me how or why, because I'm no rocket scientist, but about the third time I changed them out for copper plugs and magically the miss disappeared I stopped believing anything good about these plugs.

GARBAGE!!! GO get some Autolite platinums from Wal-Mart. I have had 6 LSX cars and always run them without a problem. NGK's are good but are made in Japan so they are a no for me

Bosch plugs are a joke, TGKS are great plugs and so are AC delcos.

i had bosch platinums in my car and started getting a terrible miss... and i figured since i had only changed the plugs and wires like a month before that my opti was going out... turned out that the opti was on its way out, but the huge miss turned into a small miss until i took the bosch plugs out and replaced with some ngk tr-55's
these were just the bosch platinums, not the +4 or anything, but i still wont go away from using ngk plugs in my car
