Wow, I'm surprised so many people voted for the Z06.
If you have the money and skill, the 69 is a no-brainer. And as far as handling, pick the right parts and it can handle just as good as the Vette.
Just one note: if this is going to be used on the track, you might want to think hardtop. You'd probably have to put a cage in it for most events, IMO that would ruin the look of the car.
Convertibles are good cruisers, IMO.
