I personally think they are one of the best looking cars on the road. INSTANTLY recogonized by almost everybody and you will always get a little head bob of appreciation.

i have an 02 NBM SS and it still looks great to me. these cars will never lose thier appeal to anyone who really loves these cars. now if you have a plain jane ta or camaro with no spoiler , ram-air hood , and stock 16 wheels ,well then i can see you getting bored with the car. it's amazing what a set of 17 or 18 " wheels and tires can do for any fbody.

We're all a bit biased here when it comes to these cars, but IMO they still look great.
GM designers really hit the nail on the head with them. I getcomplimints on mine all the time, and whenver I see one it turns my head.
I absolutley love the lines of the Pontiacs. I think the Formula is cleaner, but the T/A, esp. WS6, is a mean looking car.
Like I said, I'm biased, but I can't walk away from my car without turing my head to look back at it, and when I'm at home every once in a while I sneak a glance at it out the window. I live on the 2nd florr, and my kitchn overlooks the driveway. Ever see a 'Bird looking directly down on it from up high? DAMN sexy.
I like the Z's too. I find the stock Z's a bit boring visually, but a few simple mods really bring them to life, and the stock SS is a damn clean looking car. Subtle, yet muscular. You can't ever accuse a WS6 of being subtle!!
Actually, although each generation has a few excpetions, I think ALL the F-Bods still look great.

My pewter '00 SS vert makes my heart skip a beat everytime I look at it. It's mean, muscular and just sexy as hell. It's the only car I've ever owned that lived up to that old advertising cliche of "turning heads" - because I've caught my fair share of guys checking it out as I drive by - something I never got in the 3 Mustangs I owned.
Which leads me to another semi-related subject - the suggestion our cars are going to plummet in value when the new model debuts. Do you really believe that? '03 and '04 Cobras seem to be holding their value just fine in the face of the new Mustang body style. I just can't believe that basically overnight a clean Z, SS or TA is going to drop 5-10 grand because there's a newer body style out there.
Thoughts?
Great thread by the way...

I dont know, but these cars still look great, and they kick *** too. Just count the number of mustangs and even corvettes you see everyday, and then count how many late model f-bodies you see. I always get looks in the f-bodies, but when im with my buddy in his 'stang, no one really cares. They are a dime a dozen.

Hey and no matter what we do the car will eventually look old but the true fans dont care! Just like when I see a clean 3rd gen, I'm like DAMN, I LOVE IT!!! or any other gen for that matter.

I'm on my third 4th gen and only due to that reason does the look appear a bit outdated. Other than that, they still look modern, sleek, tough and with the right visual aftermarket parts they look bad ***.

I think clean, well maintained SS's and WS6's still look really good. Stock Z28's and TA's look too plain and dated to me now
