Found a nice 1999 T/A. what to offer?

So here's the deal, the Camaro I was looking at before is a no-go, the dealer is not willing to fix the problems on it so screw it. My family is making a trip to Houston for 4th of July, and I figured I'd look around and see what kind of deals they have there... and selection wise, there's a whole lot more than New Orleans for sure. This car fits my budget, and I don't mind taking out a small loan with cash down if it's worth it, but what would you guys offer on it assuming it's in good condition with "normal wear and tear"? Looks like these guys sell $200-300k cars on a regular basis, and the profit they'd make on the trans am would be chump change compared to the other cars... which could mean two things: they could be easy as hell or difficult to work with on price.

Wow I didn't even notice the red bird being gone till you mentioned it... but what if it's because the previous owner removed it deliberately? The sales guy claims $10k is the lowest he is able to go, and that there is "very little markup" on this vehicle blahblah. Probably some bs right? The only thing I have going for me to negotiate is that I will probably finance through them, so they should be able to cut down the price more.

I'd have to agree there, that one badass deal at the time slipped through my hands, and before I knew it, your car sold right after too! If only you could have waited till after mid-May . Now my almost neverending search continues lol

not a bad looking car. i am not a fan of the tan interior. The car is 100% stock which is always a good sign it hasnt seen much abuse. Honestly for that car, most i would pay would be about $8600. I sold a 2000 ws6 a year ago, black on black all stock with 80k for $9700.
