Default Get a dyno tune now or?

Wait until ls6 intake in a few weeks. I could get the car tuned either mid july or end of july If I wait for the ls6 intake. Whats best to do?

Obviously, if you are expecting mods..just wait so you get the most for your money.

yeah he's right about getting the most out of your money. but if you have the extra cash, getting a baseline number would show you how much your future mods helped once you decide its time for another tune.

Wait 'til the intake. A couple extra weeks of waiting for the tune is nothing.

I would get a base line run with your car in stock form and then get a tune when your mods are added and see what you get.

When I 1st purchased my 05 GTO I was not sure if I was going to leave it stock or put some mods on it. I ended up bringing it in for a tune in stock condition and waited about a year or so before I started with mods. I gained around 20 HP just with the tune alone.

I would wait for the LS6, having a baseline would be nice if it wasnt very expensive but with the price of a tune I would wait.

Just wait for the intake. No need to waste your mod money on getting a baseline.

I would definitely wait, Im doing LT's, ORY and cutout in August and then ls6 intake and PP TB at Christmas and then I will get it tuned. No need to waste money doing it twice...

I would have it run on the dyno as is, then once you get the intake and tb, have it tuned and see what you make. With the mods in my sig (The 02) i made 334rwhp/35Xtq i believe before the tune. Only change was the tune, and i made 351/372. My numbers are a little higher, because of the built trans, but you see the gain with just a tune.
