And the damn thing still get's 18 MPG.

I don't know about you guys, but the ability to get to 60 faster then almost everyone else and still getting that gas mileage makes up for putting 60 dollars in the tank (gotta love premium).

Now can someone help me figure out why people are bitching about gas prices?

I have a daily driver for worrying about gas prices and mileage. When I take the Z28 out, it's to beat the hell out of it and have fun. If the cost of gas is going through your head when you romp on it in an LS1, I'm afraid you've purchased the wrong vehicle.

I agree... ive been driving a 07 Accord hybrid for work, i only average 25mpg in it. Its not as boring as alot of other cars ive driven... but to only gets a little less in the camaro is SO worth it.

Especially when people try to be dicks... like on the on-ramp, just drop a couple gears and punch it. Cant do that in the Accord.

^ 13 mpg?! w/ 340hp & M6?? sounds like you need a tune? I was 328/338 (in higher elevation) with 4.10's, 315 rears 275 fronts getting 18mpg in town.

i can get just over 30mpg on highway with my Cam, bolt-on Vette. When i get on it it doesn't get great but who cares. I don't worry about gas prices too much until i fill my truck. I don't do a ton of driving though either.

Im not impressed at all with alot of the hybrid or compacts that were specifically designed for fuel mileage. When i had a m6 i would get 30mpg highway and was running mid 11s. They advertise chevy aveos, civics, etc at about 35mpg. Im sorry but to have to sacrifice everything for 5mpg is not worth it. If they got 70mpg that would make alittle more sense.

You gotta have fun in these cars! Actually, I'm getting better gas mileage than my previous 94 9C1 Caprice. You do have to pay to play.

If you guys want get a LS7 crate motor, put it in and gut your F bodys to be lightweight... run it through a 3.23 geared rearend , 6 speed trans and have 500+FWHP whenever you need it and to save gas just cruise and youll get 35mpg!!

Absolutely. I consider the gas I put in the TA as coming from the entertainment part of my budget. And wow, is it ever entertaining!

Gas prices doesn't bother me that much. Still a bitch to put out 60 bucks a week in gas. Only reason i'd love to have a DD even if it had worse MPG is to keep the miles down on the ta.

Wow, I wish I only spent $60 a week on fuel!!!!! That would be amazing. It may be my choice of a daily driver that requires me to spend $100 plus on diesel.
