I'm not saying there not bad *** cars, I like them except the looks. The computer launch is kind of cool but the ZR1 is a semi affordable super car. Way cheaper then a Lambo but it will still beat one. Anyone see the track times for Nurburgring? I was just at a local Pizza Hut... they had the speed channel on.
There was a new ZR-1 up for auction... Winning bidder was Dave Ressler with a top bid of $1,000,000.
Jay Leno was there... talking about he ZR-1 and basically introducing the car. He slammed other brands as well.

Is he from Michigan. I saw a Brand new ZR1 in Detroit the other day on 14 mile and crooks road (royal oak)

i didnt watch the provided clip but i rember it from when it happened. the guy didnt buy the zr1 for $1m. he only bought the rights to be the first person to buy the first one (VIN number 001). he still has atleast another 100k to shell out. and he gets a free tour of the factory too.

hate to be a traitor, but from the numbers the GTR is pretty competitive if not past the Z06 until atleast 120. This is all due to gearing though, since its AWD they geared it for major acceleration (no tire spin worries), its in 3rd gear at 60mph i believe, the Z06 should still be in 1st i believe. But after 4th is where the gearing changes more for speed, which means it'll get to 100 fast but take all day to get to 180 (if it can really do it).
That being said, some of the numbers make the GTR look like some kind of magical car, considering the top speed/acceleration/weight. And i'm pretty sure a ZR1 would kill it anyway.
