Default Quick question about removing the oil pan

Hey, I was wondering if it was possible for me to remove the oil pan and replace the gasket without lifting the motor up off of the K-member? The trans will be disconnected.

Alright, well I guess I'll find out when I do it Monday, I was trying to get a heads up. I just wasn't sure if I'll have enough room to slip it down under the oil pickup tube with it still attached to the Kmember...

support the motor and drop the K frame. unless the trans is going to be out anyway
get a support that crosses the strut towers.
what happened? did it get reused one too many times?

Yeah, I got it figured out. There's no way to drop the oil pan without lifting the motor up off the K member
