On their own (without assistance), with the way things are and their operations not being ideal, they will go out of business. It has been happening for a long time, and although they are catching on, it might be too late. (keep in mind, I mean their US operations)
Will they go out of business? Probably not, I guarantee the government will be stepping in if they file bankruptcy. The government has saved numerous airline companies numerous times, they will save GM, whether it is in the economy's best interest or not.

GM won't go out of business. They are way to big of a player in the economy for the government to let that happen. They'll get bailed out if they file for Chapter 11. Either way, its still going to suck for awhile.
The Camaro WILL NOT save GM. That car is only even marketed to a tiny percent of the car-buying population. Perhaps if all of America thought like all the enthusiasts on this board, it would save them, but that's not the case. If everyone in America was in the same mindset as people on this board, they would have never killed the F-body to begin with.
