Ultra 94 is alive and well in north central Indiana. We have 4 Sunoco stations in town. At least 1 has ultra 94. It's 5 cents per gallon more than 93. It's all I use in the TA. And yes, I have noticed a difference between 93 and 94. I ran 93 for some time, then went to 94. I think it helps, especially in the summer season.

It's hard to believe 1 point would make a noticeable difference isn't it? I would never have believed it unless I experienced it first hand.

To be honest, if I hadn't tried it myself, I would have thought "yeah right, get real". The obvious difference was when I fed the car a steady diet of 94. it seemed to smooth out and have better response. Especially in summer. If you pay close attention to your car's performance, I'll bet you could detect a difference. I'm talking about overall driving, not just WOT.

Can I afford the extra 5 cents a gallon? Sure, I just won't buy that high dollar Mountain Dew from the gas station.

There is a sunoco station that carries 94 around my local track, and it was like a few cents more and on a 90degree day at the track I thought oh what the hell, I'll be doing some hotlaps anyway so what could it hurt? anyway my trap speed was about the same, no difference from 93. At the least maybe its got a little better quality control?

dunno about bad for engines but I would imagine it does nothing good for fuel mileage

ethanol can lick my nuts, ******* waste of time and resources that should be going to alternate fuels that don't **** up food prices, reduce efficiency, ect

You probably have seen me then. I daily drive mine on the dry days in the summer time and I'm always in that area.

Silver 02 Z28 with ground effects, clear corners, factory chrome snowflakes, and the magnaflow exhaust with the big quad tips. I always get gas at that Sunoco there at Laskey and Douglas.
