I talked to Sam Strano about this and he says these cars are a lot stiffer than 3rd Gens and most quarter panel creases are from braking real hard with a chasiss mounted torque arm which can cause wheel hop cause they are shorter. He also said SFC's didn't really help cause they connect to the LCA's and the creases are behind that point. That's why I never bought SFC's. He coulda sold me a set but talked me out of it. He knows his stuff and is a stand up guy

last time i did some burnouts/donuts with clutch drops the only thing i really noticed was loose rear torque arm bolts. haha. i dont know

doing donuts is only bad in a boxer motor. my friend did some in his STI and then got yelled at by his tuner the next day. centrifigal force throws oil out of the crankcase

i know wat u are talkin about wen u say u feel guilty after beatin on your car. i think we all do that. i wouldnt worry if i was u. i do burnouts, doughnuts, and hard highway take-offs every day. then, on the weekends i really beat the hell out of my car, and my car is fine. the only thing i would really worry about is holding your steering lock to lock for long periods of time while doin doughnuts. other then that, just have fun.

Just do it, whatever breaks was weak to begin with

Really though, the sides of my front tires were rounded off from doing so many donuts/slides when I got the car. It never hurt anything other than the tires as far as I could tell.

i only do them every so often. when driving the car everyday i did feel guilty so i kinda toned it down over time and started driving like a normal person. when my car came off DD duty and went to one day a week i saw myself being a lot harder on it during that one day. o well it sat in the yard all week so it deserves to be beat....as for damage, just driving your car can cause something to break. just put some money back for a posi or tranny and have fun!!

I know right? Making your car a non DD makes it SOOOO much more enjoyable. You can go out and say, hey.... If it breaks i will fix it when i can, and i still have a ride to work monday.

Donuts are bad for your health. They clog arteries and raise your cholesterol. Really only issue I've come across is the car heating up after some prolonged donuts/burnouts. So watch that dummy temp gauge.

Like everyone else, it def puts more stress on the car which in my opinion is not worth it.

I've never done a donut or burn out (other than the track of course). I don't even know how to do a doughnut so I only go straight

Dump the clutch keep it floored (low speed like less than 10 mph) and jerk the wheel to one side and you're doing a donut.

I only did donuts in my my Mustang since that was all it could really do lol...all jokes aside I don't do them and the only time I do burnouts is at the track.

The only thing donuts are bad for is your bank account when you are constantly buying new tires, well it also put stress on your car too....

I've had my SS for 8 months now and never once broke loose my tires, expect in water. Don't wanna do anything like that just yet. Not 'till I get the sub-frame connectors and stuff like that.
