Really? I think the Badlanz unit is very well constructed. The butterfly opens and closes smoothly.

Today got it installed and boy....I wished I would have consider it sooner!!! It sounds awesome. My SOTP tells I gained some at topend too!!

Car in at the shop now to get painted....it will be there for at least a week. Will try to get video then. The more I use it the more I love it, I love setting alarms off as I pass by!!! LOL!

^^^^ The technology is very similar to the wireless control of an automotive alarm. I bet it has more range than the stock GM alarm control of our fbodies!!

As soon as my car comes from the paint shop will try to get a video.

Well, not a very good update....The thing only worked for a week. Then it remained open and it wouldn't close. I sent an email for a solution. I ******* hate **** like this.

I think gears went bad. the motor makes a clacking sound and then, nothing.

It sounds great though and it is not that loud. I don't mind leaving it open without a plate.

Will keep you posted. If any of you is thinking about a similar unit i suggest you wait to see what happens in my case.

Okay, I was contacted by Badlanz and they asked me to send it back for replacement at no charge. I hope I dont have the same luch next time! Will post any updates.
