Default Badlanz e-cutout...UPDATE!! IT TOOK A CRAP!!

I just got one of these for my car. I went with the wireless controller for the ease of installation. I searched here for info on it but couldnt find enough. Anyone here has used, or have one? your thoughts?

Thanks!

i've heard of a lot of people using them and seen a lot of Youtube videos and they look really nice. i've never heard any griping about them, i believe they have good ground clearance as well.

I've been using one for years. Only lost one motor. That was before he changed the way the motor was held on. I dont have the wireless controller, although it sounds nice. I do think it's one of the better e-cutouts on the market.

I had no idea they made remote cutouts. Has anyone had any problems with them leaking?

Dont see why the hassle. Not really anything more complicated than a standard setup, which this system also has.

Ok dumb question here but do you bolt the electric butterfly to the existing cutout or do you bolt the black thing to the cutout and the butterfly to the black thing?

The electric "butterfly" and motor are whole unit that is installed over cutout (black thing?) The cutout itself is welded to the I pipe (in the car).

I understand what your talking about but when I looked at the pics for the cutout on ebay there is a little black piece. It is not the actual cutout that welds in the I pipe. Anyway after looking at it the black piece is for being able to swivel the electric part.

He is local to me...Good to hear that you guys have had good luck with his cutouts. My buddy has not had any luck with them, even the new design failed right away, so I never have gotten one.

You will like the E-cutouts.

I ran a QTP, but like many it crapped out and going with a DMH which has a 4 year warranty and opens a hell of alot faster and a better unit.
