As much as I love the TBSS, i vote the Jeep. The SRT8 is just plain mean. My friend owns a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 5.9L Limited. Very rare, and it is just ******* tough!

The Jeep SRT-8 smokes the TB SS. Two good choices but the SRT8 is faster and meaner looking IMO.

this is tuff i think it would have to be one of those times i flip a coin and go by that....but the srt8 does look pretty good!!!

Go Jeep SRT8 unless you are planning major mods in the future. With a CAI/Diablo the 6.1 Hemis can make 410+ rwhp. Very fun cars.

I love my SRT 300 and I know the build quality is better in the SRT since I also own a C6.

get the tbss, there is way more and better/ cheaper mods than the pile of dodge. Sides its got a lsx in it, im mean like DUH! The dodges do look good, but its still a dodge

I've been a LSx fan forever, but man, the SRT8s are sweet.
That 6.1 is a monster...the A5 SRTs make an easy 400rwhp with a good tune, which is even better than what you could expect from a A6 LS3....

Get the frickin JEEP!!!!!!! If the price would have been any where near the price of my 04 CTS-V, I would have picked up the SRT-8. I dont like the SRT-8 cars much mainly cause they are porky, but the Jeep is just awesome!!! The jeep is also more rare! I see TBSS's all the time but the jeeps are few and far between. They do make some really good cams for the 6.1 also. Can you imagine a jeep that lopes? Thats just bad ***!!!

Wow, more unbiased opinions than I thought....I picked the TBSS since mods are more plentiful and anything Mopar seems to lose value and fall apart from my experience but thing maybe changed?

Quality of the SRT8 (LX) is quite good.

I have a SRT8Magnum and love it to death. With a catback and CAI sound means as hell!

Go Jeep, or any SRT8....you wont be disappointed.

I've been pondering an SRT-8 Charger, black, limo tint, black wheels. Idk if anyone has seen Street Kings, but those things look meeeean.

The jeep would cost more to fix, and it gets the worst gas mileage EVER! Can you say 12MPG highway? Dunno about which one actualy lasts longer / breaks less.

I think the TBSS is a better value.

I wouldn't own a TBSS right now if you could only get them with AWD and equipped the way the SRT's are.

SS all the way. I am somewhat baffled at the responses considering the fact that we are on a chevy forum. Thats good though. It shows that ppl are still open and honest instead of just being loyal.
