Default Trailblazer SS or SRT-8 Jeep

What would you get? This will be a family car and the only mods will be exhaust and MAYBE an intake. What gets better gas mileage? Thoughts...

ive driven the trailblazer, it was pretty fun, i think it gets around 15 mpg highway. ive seen some very nice trailblazers especially after some small stuff like exhaust and window tint. if i were you i would go to your local dealership and test drive both. when you drive the SS make sure to turn off the traction control which is on the shifter(hold it). i dont know anything about the srt8 jeeps-------------------mopar or no car huh.........ill take no car!

SRT-8 Jeep! The 6.1L hemi sounds so nice with exhaust and the car just looks mean. The 20 inch chromes look really nice and you cant beat the center mount exhaust. My good buy has one and I love driving the thing as it hauls. Cant go wrong with either SUV but id lean towards the SRT-8 unless you find an SS for a steal.

whats the price difference between the two?

i used to drive my dads jeep for nearly 2 years before i picked up my first car/trans am. jeeps are pretty much up there right next to GM in my book. id would pick a truck made by Jeep rather than GM anyday, but i would have to lean more towards the trailblazer SS on this one only because its part of the LSx family. test drive both of em and form your opinion then.

We just got back from looking around and there was no place that had the TBSS or the Jeep SRT-8, but we were looking at the 300C SRT-8's and they're NIIIICCCCEEE.

I love my TB SS. It's been flawless for 45K miles. Whichever one you get, don't buy it for mpg, because they both suck.
