Nevermind....I caught it.
BTW here is the formula: RWpower/.85=FWHP. (assuming a 15% DT loss.)

That may be, assuming 20% DT loss for a DJ. That doesn't make too much sense IMO though. StangJets dyno less that DJ's. That that reference SJ's have a loss for manuals at 20+%. ANd that I don't agree with, seems how SJ's are said to be more accurate. I typically go 15% for manual and 20% for auto.
I think there's a misunderstanding. You can't do 20% all around as manuals have less loss than Autos.

Wow, so he rounded up. BTW, the rest of the world (i.e. non car enthusiasts) looks at crank HP because that is what has been advertised by the auto industry. And no one is gonna list a car at 388.3 hp. Must people are gonna round by 25 hp. 325, 350, 375, 400 ext. Stop being a douche and pointing out small embelishments for no reason.
EDIT: The stop being a douche also applies to those people arguing pointlessly over drivetrain loss. You are either
1) selling a car and advertising the estimated crank HP within a reasonable margin of error (like GM, dodge, ford do on all their cars)
OR
2) you are discussing THE POTENTIAL performance capabilities of a particular vehicle which has been subjected to testing by a "presumably" calibrated dyno. NOTE: ACTUAL PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES are measured in ETs and MPHs.
So arguing what a cars Crank HP actually is pointless. It either is a general estimate for the purpose of marketing, or has no impact on the cars performance.
