yeah $300 a month won't get you the 04 vette unless you've got some serious cash. with nothing down & your car paid off without money out of your pocket, you'd be looking around $440 - $675 payments. but that's one hell of a deal on the vette!

as for finding a c5 for under $17000, it's quite doable... but it'll likely have over 80k miles.

Yeah i kinda figured that out now. lol. Also i wouldn`t mind the vette having over 75,000 miles on it as long as its not terribly high mileage. I`ll find the right one yet. I`m still pretty dam happy with my TA for now so i`m not in a huge hurry to get a vette. There just so dam hard to come by in my area, hell i had to search for 3 months before i finally found my TA even. I was origanally looking for a black ws6 m6 but the red kinda grew on me quite a bit so i decided to get it. But neways if somebodys looking for a good deal on a vette Z06 PM me and i`ll send you the link to where this one is that i found. Its at a stealership so its a legit car.

I would suspect something is up with an 04 Z06 selling for 24k. Regular C5vettes are selling cheap but 03 and 04 Z06's have held pretty good value. I would think that an 04 with average miles in nice condition would be more like 32-36k. It makes me wonder what is or was wrong with this car.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially at a dealership. I could've bought a grey metallic 04 non-zo6 vette @ a small local dealership for $25000, it had like 30k miles on it. and that was a dang good deal compared to what the other vettes around are listed for. so if you upgrade that to a zo6, the price should easily be over 28,500.
