I can't vote but I'd say GTO. I love my WS6 and just had to make a decision on trade it or fix it. I chose to fix it but only because I love the way it looks and couldn't see myself in something else. One of my buddies at work has a blue GTO that he got worked on at Livernois and it hauls in comfort. I just prefer the looks. Get the one that appeals to you.

If i had the money i would go with a GTO for a daily driver there alot more roomy and they set higher so you can see better. About the post that someone gets around 28 MPG in one yea defently the GTO. They cost like 4,000-5000 more then an LS1 F-body though. check auto trader and craigslist. F-bodys still look better expecially with RS ground effects

Id say Gto. I Live in Billings Mt and have put over 50000 miles on it. It is my true daily driver. Works great in the snow, and with an a4 i still get 22-23 mpg intown!!!

I'd get anyone of them on the list. I DD my 01 Trans-Am WS6 and its fine for me. I drive about 20 miles each way every day. A Camaro or Trans-Am stock for stock will be faster then the GTO, but not by too much so it doesn't matter too much. My car is decently comfortable, nothing compared to a Cadillac or anything, but good for what it is.

I'd get a c5 if i could afford it, just depends what you like. If you really want a muscle car get an f-body, you'll love it. If not, get the goat or shop around for a clean c5. Maybe you can even find a good deal on a c5 z06.

I voted for "other". I have 3 totally impractical cars for everyday use right now. I'm selling my Z28 and buying something that gets 25-30 MPG and is either FWD or AWD for my daily commute. If you don't see winter weather and don't mind gas prices go with the GTO. You can steal a nice 05 or 06 right now. I know as I was just out pricing some a couple of weeks ago.

Camaro/Firebird looks quite a bit better, but the GTO is a bit more comfortable.

I voted for GTO for dd but if you can afford it I would get a TA then buy a cheap work car. I love my saturn for work... 40 mpg since its mostly hwy.... and I can do what I want to the TA and not worry about being practicle for dd.

The GTO doesn't hold its value either.

Get the T/A for a toy and a GTO for the DD if you can swing it. Otherwise, get the T/A and a cheap beater. GTO is great for a driver, but I find it to be very uninspiring compared to the F-Body when it comes to a true "sports" car.

Looking at your list mileage doesn't seem that important, so instead of other I picked GTO. Comfort/ride is way above the Fbodies. I don't care if it looks bland, that's the only thing the Fbodies have over it.

Ive got an 04 LS1 m6 GTO and absolutely love it I got over 26mpg highway when stock and with headers. now I have cam and get close to 25mpg highway its my dd by the way i picked it up for 15k with 50k miles in march with some small mods. My dad has a c5 and thats great car handles better and if you want a drag car get TA or Camaro. The GTO is a bit heavy but hauls and is very comfy. any lsx car you will be happy with dont count out the ctsv or trail blazer ss =)

c5 all the way i am getting over 30 mpg on the highway with my 01 (m6 of course) and only paid 19 for it. you can find them for a few grand cheaper if you go with a little older model. i wanted the ls6 intake and competetive driving mode that started in 01 tho. doesnt look like you have to worry about snow in OK so the c5 would work. as long as you can handle only having 2 seats.

Last week I owned a GTO, T/A and SS all at once, now I just have the GTO and T/A and let me tell you the GTO is a fun daily driver, but im always in "race mode" with it. When i hop in the t/a its nice ride and knowing you can have fun with the solid axle at the press of the throttle is a great feeling, and for some reason I take it alot easier in the Fbodies.

I bought a 04 GTO M6 new in 12/04 and kept it for two years....it was the best DD I ever had. However, I missed driving a T/A, so I sold it and now have a 00 WS6.
