U would think u being from TX where theres a billon trucks that when you use a truck like i do for pullin, hauling, working, pleasure, that those rails are good for tieing **** down, and not hiting the side of the truck when your unloading something, and that brush graud pushes whatever gets in your way and the lights for bight light the hell out off somebody that pisses u off.

I have been considering trading in my 02 ws6 w/ about 28K miles for a new silverado. I have a good friend at a local dealership that can get me a 08 silverado LT1 extened cab with leather, factory 20's for $19,500. Think I should do it? The truck will be my daily driver. Gas is not much of an issue, obviously because i have a trans am now. I've been contemplating on getting something a little bigger and more comfortable than the ws6

With the prices of the camaros and the T/A's lately I probably wouldn't sell it as you proabably cant get what you really want out of it. If you buy the truck you will regret it and try to pick up a T/A later only to find thet there anr not that many nice ones left, or for sale.
Now if you had a million miles on the T/A I would sell it in a hreatbeat for a truck, but you have a sweet ride and should take care of it.

Seriously, if you buy it...you will kick yourself over it forever. There is no comparrison between a fast car and a truck in any way and trust me you will regret it. If your wanting a truck, look into something older and more practical to be able to keep the WS6 as a garage queen and you will be much happier with your decision.

Buy something comfortable and used. Search around a bit you will find something nice. I had to sell my 04 F150 (to big for the wife and baby). It had 39,000 miles fully loaded lariet for 18k. I bought it new and sticker was 39k. Trucks are hard to sell right now because of gas prices.
I bought a 04 T4R black sport 4x4 used and could not be happier it was garage kept. YOU WILL MISS YOUR TA. I love having a DD and the TA.

I have my Z for nice weather cruising, and a 00 Sonoma for a DD. I also have a Jeep for mud/snow, and a bike for nice weather cruising. I think the Z and Jeep will be fine, or maybe the Z and Sonoma ![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)
I sold my boltons lt1 Z to buy a bike + truck and REALLY missed it a month after. I started searching again, and couldn't be happier to be back in an fbody. Something about them is addictive

1996firebirdformula...it's interesting that you posted a ss silverado. i was looking hard at a intimidator ss silverado with 10k miles on it. they were asking $26k for it. i just couldnt justify spending that much money on a ss silverado with some extra appearance stuff on it.
But, i decided to keep the ws6. I actually have a 93' gmc sierra. It's a stepside and has a tonneau cover. it doesnt seem like it, but the stepside really takes away from the size of the bed and then add the tonneau cover and the utility of the bed is practically gone. it's more like a trunk than a bed. just was looking for something new and it was a good deal on the truck. well, appreciate all the input.

I do love chevy trucks but ended up buying a dodge ram on 22's with a slight lift for very cheap and I am actually glad I did as I don't give a **** about the dodge- it is a truck anyhow.
I was going to get a diesel, and I am so glad I didn't

these questions get on my nerves. no offence. but it's just like asking yourself if you want to eat a cheeseburger, or a PB&J, answer to the question is which one do you like more?.... only truck i would ever sell my T/A to get, would be a lightning.
