well it just depends if you want a LS1 and if your ready to make a change to a A4 which is pretty big IMO. But you can always do a swap to a M6 so I say go for it!

I say do it, but start looking for a t-56 soon because you'll be kicking yourself in the *** after going to an auto..If you were trading auto for auto itd be differnt, but you arent so...Worse case you sell the SS and buy an M6, you'd be surprised how many people like automatics.

its a good deal, besides that its an auto, and after driving a m6 you will be bored.

Yeah but try and get something lower than 2k. The m6 to a4 might be a problem for you though.

Do it. . . .LS1> LT1 - Way over.

The Opti alone was my reason not to get one.

It's just odd, the LS is a whole different world comapred to the LT.

I was going to trade my black m6 99 Firehawk w/ a built motor for a LT1 + cash but I decided a couple of thousand definitely isn't worth downgrading.

I'm glad to see you made the trade. If I were in your boat I would've done so too. I imagine the former LS1 owner is going through cognitive dissonance right about now.
